YMCA Aquatic Park at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon

kids jumping off inflatable On the coast of North County, off the Interstate 5 located in the Agua Hedionda Lagoon, the Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA aquatic park is home to day camps and family fun. The aquatic park is available for day pass or weekend rentals, and now hosts two-hour kayak tours!

Invite your friends and family! You don't have to be a member to join in the fun!

LAGOON RENTALS

A day or weekend of fun at the Y's aquatic park includes lifeguard supervision for up to 50 people, inflatable slides and jumping, kayaking adventures, on-site facilities with showers and restrooms, and a garage loaded with life jackets and all opportunities for a safe, unique aquatic experience! Make a splash with a day pass or a weekend rental!

DAY PASSES

Purchase a day pass for the aquatic park! Participants will get access to the lagoon and all of its amenities including use of the inflatables, kayak, paddleboards and more! Reserve your pass today.

Day Pass Details:

During summer, the YMCA Aquatic Park experiences limited availability for family day pass rentals due to camp fun!
Members and nonmembers will be able to purchase a day pass.
Day passes allow access to the lagoon Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 2:30pm to 6:30pm, from June to mid-September.

WEEKEND RENTAL

Multi-day rentals, weekends. Rentals are available Friday, Saturday, Sundays
Lagoon is rented out in 4-hour time slots, during the following:
- Morning sessions: 9:30am-1:30pm
- Afternoon sessions: 2:30-6:30pm
- Both sessions can be rented for one full day, depending on availability
$775 nonmembers per session | up to 25% off depending on membership type

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR RENTAL

Reserve a rental online here. If you encounter an error, go to our program registration, select "Birthday Parties," under categories, then, "Birthday-Swim" under programs, and lastly, "Swim Birthday Party Lagoon Rental" under courses. From here, you will click on the blue "options," button next to the month you are looking to rent. From there, you will be able to see the different days/times available.
You will need to create an account to register. If you need assistance making an account, or adding a card, our membership team can assist you in person or over the phone at: 760-942-9622. Call our office located at the Magdalena Ecke YMCA (760)-942-9622.
Please note our cancellation policy: cancellations must be made before the 15th of the month before your scheduled rental for a full refund. Late cancellations will be refunded 75%.

What does a daypass or weekend rental include access to?

Includes 2 Lifeguards, up to 50 swimming at a time OR kayaking
Additional lifeguards can be provided for an additional fee
On-site facilities with showers, restrooms
Garage with kayaks, inflatables, life jackets, all items necessary for aquatic fun!

What are the available days for a day pass or a weekend rental?

Fridays: 2:00pm-6:00pm
Saturdays: 10:00am-2:00pm
Sundays: 10:00am-2:00pm
Holidays/Weekdays without camp: 10:00am-2:00pm

KAYAK TOURS

Embark on a two-hour Kayak Tour at Agua Hedionda lagoon, hosted by Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA. Paddle through pristine waters, guided by our experts who reveal the lagoon’s rich history and diverse wildlife. With 14 on-site kayaks catering to all levels, our program combines adventure, education and relaxation. Join us for an immersive escape into nature!
