Health Coaching Program

There is more to our individual well-being than simply what we eat, how often we exercise and the medical care we receive. Your health coach will help you find the missing pieces and identify barriers that are stopping you from reaching your goals. Experience a new whole well-being approach is that is individualized, sustainable and transformational.

HOW CAN A HEALTH COACH HELP?

A health coach can help you be accountable, get perspective on your strengths and identify areas for opportunity. They empower you to create or further develop your vision for healthy living. Your coach will look at the whole picture. This includes nutrition, exercise, sleep, vitamins/minerals, stress, gut health and so much more. Your coach will see the triggers and issues to work on and teach you how to apply small changes to your daily routine to work towards your goals.

IS A HEALTH COACH A NUTRITIONIST?

Put simply, a holistic health coach can help you with overall behavior change, and a nutritionist or dietician can help with issues related specifically to food. When people embark on a goal related to health or nutrition, it’s tempting to look for a “quick fix.” If your goal is to change behaviors, it can be hard to do it alone.

WHO IS HEALTH COACHING FOR?

Health coaching is for everyone. Through education, motivation, inspiration, accountability and a plan specifically designed for your needs, you will find support all along the way to reaching your goals.

WHERE CAN I BEGIN?

The first appointment with your health coach is a free 15-minute consultation. You can choose to schedule in-person or virtually. We will gather information on your health history and target your personal well-being goals. Together, we can help you determine a path that will best meet your goals. Once you determine that health coaching is for you, your coach will help you decide the frequency of your visits.

WHAT IS THE FEE?

The first 15-minute consultation is free! After that, you and your coach will determine the frequency of your visits, whether it be just a one-time, 60-minute visit, or a package of visits.

One-on-one single sessions (1 hour):

  • 4 sessions: Members: $260 | Nonmembers: $325
  • 8 sessions: Members: $504 Nonmembers: $630

MAKING WELL-BEING MORE ACCESSIBLE

The YMCA offers financial aid through our ACCESS scholarship program to help individuals connect to the programs that are important.
