The YMCA of San Diego County will host the Annual
President's Round Table Luncheon on Wed., June 2 to acknowledge all
individuals, businesses, foundations and organizations that make an Annual
Support Campaign contribution of $1,000 or more. These generous donations help
the Y fulfill the goal of serving kids and families who need the programs the
most, but may not have the ability to participate because of a lack of funds.

The purpose of the luncheon is to say ¢‰âÒTHANKS¢‰âÂå personally to
them and let them know what the Y is doing to earn their continued support.

The 2010 Annual Support Campaign was the most successful in
history, surpassing the goal by raising over $6 million. None of it was
possible without the help of all major donors in the campaign and the 3,000 committed
volunteers who made it so successful.

The luncheon also will serve as a backdrop to recognize the YMCA
of San Diego County Friends in the Media Awards. This year's winners are Joice Truban
Curry, president and CEO of c3 Communications and Tayari Howard, on-air
personality, Smooth Jazz 98.1.

In 2000 the YMCA Marketing and Communications Committee
created the Friends in the Media Award to honor those who have made significant
contributions in helping to tell the YMCA's story through the media. Through
their generous help, more of the San Diego
community are aware of the YMCA and its value to the community.
